Chinese smartphone manufacturers Oppo introduced a New Year edition of their flagship model OppoR17 Pro in China. The new edition of Oppo R17 Pro is called the King Of Glory Edition as the device is completely based on the Tencent game King Of Glory. The smartphone is developed in partnership with Tencent Games and Oppo. The handset is given a stylish green shade finish with the King Of Glory logo on its back as well as a glossy King of Glory jewel placed on top of the camera. The device is themed with the King of Glory special theme along with the King of Glory game pre-installed as well.
Apart from the new design, the new Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition is as same as the existing Oppo R17 Pro in specs as well as the pricing. The Oppo R17 Pro King of glory edition is only available in a single variant i.e the 8GB RAM 128GB storage model under the price tag of CNY 4,299 approximately equals to INR 43,500. The smartphone is currently available for pre-order at Oppo’s online stores.
Specifications
The device comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and has a teardrop notch on top. The samrtphone also has an under display fingerprint reader for security. Under the hood, the Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SOC paired with Adreno 616 GPU to deal with graphics tasks. In the camera section, the Oppo R17 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 12P primary sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4, a 20P sensor with an aperture of f/2.6 and at last a 3D TOF Camera. The smartphone hosts a 25MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls etc. The device also supports Super VOOC fast charging and has a 3700Ah battery inside and is shipped with ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Till now there isn’t any news regarding the launch of Special Edition here in India.
